I felt I needed a lightweight lens to carry around all day long. The Tamron 70-210 mm is a good addition and works well, there’s just one thing I need to complain about – the AF sucks sometimes but Tamron released new firmware that’ll correct the (minor) problem. Whether I go for a stroll or longer hike the 70-210 is in my bag. When it comes to sharpness, colour and clarity compared to the Canon 55-250 mm stm the Tamron is the winner.
